Figure S1. Expression patterns of Gr66a-Gal4 and Gr66-Gal4 plus dTRPA1-Gal4 on the
proboscis. GCaMP6 was used as reporter in these pictures.
Figure S2. Expression patterns of Gr66a-Gal4 and dTRPA-Gal4 in the brain, VNC, and the
front leg. Gr66a-Gal4 appeared to label two neurons on the front leg whereas dTRPA1Gal4 did not. Also, we did not observe labeling of neurons on the mid and hind leg of
these flies (n= 6 flies for each genotype).
