1, 2 & 6) and Friday, October 26
(p. 4 & 5)
What is this project?
You may choose to do one of two things:
1. Create a 3D cell model (plant or animal
cell) from household items
OR
2. Create a 3D poster (plant or animal
cell) from household items
What does it include?
1.Your cell models/poster must be in 3D!
2. You must have all the parts of the cell
labeled correctly.
3. You must create labels or have a key
showing me where the parts of the cell
are.
4. You must tell me if it is a plant or animal
cell.
What does it include?
5. You must have a separate sheet of paper
that EXPLAINS the FUNCTION of every
organelle in the cell.
6. You must have a PARAGRAPH that
explains how a plant cell is different than
an animal cell.
7. It needs to look nice
How many points?
This project is worth 100 points!!!
You will be graded on the following:
• Correctly labeled organelles
• Correctly labeled cell
• Design, creativity and artistry of model or poster
• 3D
• Description of organelles on separate sheet of paper
• Paragraph explaining difference between plant & animal
cells
