The cell theory state all living things are made up of cells, cells are the basic unit of structure and function for
living things and cells reproduce other cells. Each cell has many organelles (parts) which carry out the physical and
chemical functions for it.
Selling the cell brochure:
You have been hired as a scientific graphic artist. Your first assignment is to create a brochure/catalog that will
promote your cell parts. You are to design a cell catalog that illustrates and
describes the function of each organelle.
Include a cover, drawings of each organelle, description of the function
of each organelle, Pick either a plant cell or an animal cell.
Be creative, Think “sell” (include coupons, prices, order form, etc.)

mitochondria
lysosomes (animal cell)/Peroxisomes (plant cell)

Build a SMALL model of either a plant cell or an animal cell.
Please include the following organelles:

lysosomes (animal cell) /
mitochondria
chloroplasts if plant cell
Include labels or a key which lists the name and function for each organelle.
Ideas: Please use recyclable materials such as paper mache, hair gel cell, Fruit or candy cell (in baggy),
shoe box cell, Cell Pillows…etc…..
