Cell Booklet Requirements HONORS BIOLOGY This cell booklet is designed to help familiarize you with the cell, its parts, and its functions. This is a great activity to keep until college. BE CREATIVE! Materials: White paper Colored paper Colored pencils markers textbooks construction paper your imagination Format: Your cell booklet will need to include the following information: 1. A cover page: Every book has an attractive cover that lets the reader know what it is that he or she is about to read. Call it what ever you like, so long as it is pertaining to what is on the inside. Bound: It can be bound many different ways. Example: Stapled along the side, hole punched with ribbon or string, stapled in the corner… Please no notebooks YOUR BOOKLET MUST BE ASSEMBLED BEFORE YOU COME TO CLASS THE DATE IT IS DUE! 2. A table of contents: Please label the page numbers. 3. Prokaryotic Cell Draw, label and color. Parts: Ribosomes, Pili, DNA, Rotary Motor/Flagella, Plasma Membrane, Capsule, Cell Wall 4. The plant cell Draw the plant cell, label and color it. 5. The animal cell Draw the animal cell, label and color it. 6. Cell organelles: Please list function. (You may put more than 1 on a page) You must label the interior parts of the organelles as well.
