I can now explain how the different specialized organelles processes and needs inside a cell.
The evidence that I uploaded is my poster I drew of a cell showing all the different organelles
and where they are located inside the cell. What I can explain now is different because in the
past I knew organelles such as smooth endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria, nucleus, and
lysosomes. Now I understand more about other organelles in the cell and their different
processes like peroxisomes, centrioles, cytoskeleton, and more about ribosomes and their
purpose. This understanding is more complex because I can now explain how the different
organelles are used to make the cell function correctly such as peroxisomes detoxify poisonous
substances like alcohol, centrioles aid in the mitotic spindle, cytoskeleton are the framework of
the cell and give it its shape, and the ribosomes aid in protein synthesis. This evidence supports
my claim that I can now explain the phenomenon because it tells what each organelle does in
the cell and it also shows their places in the cell. This is what I did to understand the
phenomenon: First, I began by drawing the cell and then each organeIle. Next, I labeled every
one of them and told their function. Finally, I colored coded it to show which organelle is which. I
can now use my knowledge of this phenomenon to help understand how my cells in my body
function in order to make my body function properly. In a future career I might be able to use
this phenomenon to become a nurse by understanding the organelles in order to diagnose
patients.
