Our biggest potential we are opening up, when we bring the mind and heart in harmony. Scientific
studies of the neuro-cardiology show that the heart has its own brain with its own nervous system
(brain heart with approximately 40,000 neuronal circuits). It is thus able to feel, to remember, to
learn and to make decisions independently of the head brain. Above all, however, it may "feel".
This result more nervous from the heart to the brain than the other way around, where the heart on
5 different routes passes its information to the brain and the rest of the body and that (!):
1. mechanically-biophysical: blood pressure and pulse wave velocity in the bloodstream.
2. biochemically: about hormones and neurochemical messengers that produced in the heart and are
sent (with 10-100m / S).
3. electromagnetically: in the contraction of Herzenz arise electrical signals via its electromagnetic
field passed (300,000 km / s) and also 6,000 times stronger than the brain.
4. neurologically: by the nervous system.
Be its piezoelectricity as semiconductors for energy and information that is stored, filtered, amplified
and processed - 5 with the Bindegewebsystem.
This incessant messages about the state of Herzenz to the brain and the rest of the body will help the
entire system (which Spiellleiter the heart is) an increasing order (frequency and power), awareness
and ultimately coherence (Heart Rate Variability = HRV) manufacture.
The brain in our hearts
For medicine, the heart for a long time the organic equivalent was about the garden pond pump: It
presses stop the blood throughout the body and if it is broken, it is replaced. Some researchers now
claim but: The heart is also a sensitive sense organ, a highly developed sense of center, which
receives and processes a wealth of information.
The heart seems to be a second brain literally. After all, to the amazement of many researchers, the
highly complex nervous system of the heart contains about 40,000 neurons that form a distinct and
inde pendent-acting from the brain and our autonomic nervous system network, however, is over
diverse paths in communication with our head-brain. About different afferent nerves, the heart
continuously sends information to the head-brain and influenced by our true recesses and mental
processes.
The nerves from the heart reach the head-brain to the medulla, then continue to run up into the
higher centers in the brain and appear to have great influence on the amygdala - a major center for
instincts, emotions and anxiety. The interesting thing is that the heart-brain obviously completely
independent "thinking" - independent of the brain and nervous system.
"The nervous system in the heart (the heart-brain) allows the heart to learn regardless of the
cerebral cortex, to remember and to make decisions. In addition, numerous experiments have
demonstrated that the signals sent by the heart-broken ununter to the brain, the higher brain
functions, which are concerned with perception, cognition and emotional processing, significantly
influenced "says Rollin McCraty, Ph.D., from the Institute of Heart Math.

The magnetic field of the heart
But an even more astonishing discovery of the researchers at the Institute of Heart Math is the
enormous magnetic field of the heart: The electrical component of this field is about 60 times
stronger than the brain, the magnetic even up to 5,000 times and can still several feet from body are
measured away.
This pulsating heart field and sends complex rhythmic patterns throughout the body, making it
apparently affects a variety of processes - including our brain synchronizes itself again and again to
this electromagnetic pulse. In relaxation and pleasure to synchronize breathing and blood pressure.
The heart-field might thus provide the synchronizing signal for the whole body to which we can
attune us consciously to swing it were in harmony with the heart.
Unsurprisingly, it is because, when the researchers report in the Institue of Heart Math that negative
emotions cause a very disturbed rhythmic pattern while, love, joy and other positive emotions create
very harmonious and uniform fields, how to based on a spectral analysis of the heart could prove field.
Heart connection - the synchronization of the heart
What significance does this have for our relationships? Finally, now more times has been
demonstrated that synchronize the brains of people during a deep conversation so far that the brain
waves have completely identical and congruent pattern.
sinn.html) McCraty and his team have now extended this research and believe that the heart could
play an important role in this process.
"Experiments at the Institute of HeartMath have provided remarkable evidence that the
electromagnetic field of the heart can transmit information between people. We were able to
measure an exchange of heart energy between individuals that were up to 1.5 meters apart. [...]
The results of these experiments have led us to conclude that the nervous system acts as a sort of
"antenna" which is attuned to the electromagnetic fields produced by the hearts of other individuals
and react to this. We believe this ability to exchange energy information is an innate ability that
increases the awareness and important aspects of true empathy and sensitivity to others conveyed. "

The heart as a hormone gland
But also very biologically does the heart far more than only to pump: In the eighties, the heart was
first classified as a hormonal gland. In the nervous system of the heart various neurotransmitters and
hormones are precisely poured out like in the brain that affect the entire body. Noradrenaline,
dopamine and oxytocin are the most important of these hormones, which oxytocin main reason is
interesting because it is considered the "love hormone", which significantly influenced maternal love,
solidarity, tolerance, understanding and social behavior.
"Unity of mind and heart"
Tell all the Indians, wise men and women, masters and gurus who advise us for hundreds of years, to
follow the heart. At least we seem to come to the mystery of the heart ever closer, that place that
connects the world with the Absolute and the earth with the sky.
This means that our heartbeats are more than just mechanical pulsation of a pump, but they are an
intelligent language with considerable influence on how the activities of the higher brain areas
process cognitive and emotional information and how we behave in the world eventually.
"The whole universe is contained in the body, the whole body in the heart. So is the heart of the core
of the whole universe. "(Ramana Maharshi).

"Usually, the person judged by his thinking, according to his knowledge. However, this is not the
fundamental value, but the decisive factor is the ability of feeling, of the heart. The story evolved
continually, but the driving force behind it was not the knowledge but feeling. So we should first
create a world of true heart. The training for this task begins in the family life. The heart is being
developed as part of the family, and when we come from the family into society, our heart character
is correspondingly way impact there. " Sun Myung Moon April 5, 1972 (VIENNA)
