Title of teaching module: Cellular and Developmental Biology
Description of teaching module (teaching program):
The Cell and Developmental Biology course is designed to introduce the pharmacy
students to understand how interactions among molecules, macromolecules, and
macromolecular machines give rise to living cells. The course focuses on the regulation of
specialized cells function, and how complex interactions between cells guide normal
development, including the creation and maintenance of tissues and organs during early
developmental stages. The course also includes basic cell and molecular biology aspects to
understand the treatment of human disease as well as new biotechnology applications
.
