Chapter 9 Graphic Organizer
Name_____________________________________
Per_______________
A graphic organizer is a visual representation of information. For large amounts of unfamiliar
information, graphic organizers not only help categorize facts but serve as a memory aid. You will make
a graphic organizer that will serve as a study aid for this chapter. Your organizer must include symbols,
pictures, diagrams, charts, etc. Do not simply put the words on a piece of paper. This assignment is due
Tuesday, May 20th.
Procedure
1. All the necessary steps and information for each process of cell respiration are scrambled and
placed in Table 1 below. Fill in the blanks in Table 2 by unscrambling the information from Table
1. (Yes, some things are repeated. They occur more than once, so include everything even if it’s
repeated). Check your answers with me.
2. Now build a graphic organizer by arranging the information in Table 2 in chronological order. Be
sure to add visual symbols and designs to help display cell respiration.
