Organelless Are Like Towns

Nucleus- Mayor
In a town the Nucleus is like the mayor. They
both are the boss, and they both control
everything that goes on in their system. The
nucleus controls everything that goes on in
the cell, when the Mayor controls everything
that goes on in the town.
Cell Membrane-Police
The Cell Membrane is like a Police squad in a
town. They both control what enters and
leave the system. The Cell Membrane
controls what food and water goes into the
cell, when the Police control what people go
into the town.
Cytoplasm-Houses
The Cytoplasm is like the houses in a town.
They both provide comfort and cushions
things moving or being transported around
the system. The Cytoplasm cushions food,
water, and oxygen being transported around
the cell, when the houses cushion people
who are moving or being transported around
the town.
Nuclear membrane/envelope-Council
The Nuclear Membrane is like the council
members in a town. They both assist or help
the boss. The Nuclear membrane helps their
boss, the Nucleus, by controlling everything
that comes in or out of it, when the Council
Members help their boss, the Mayor, by
assisting her on her work.
Lysosomes-Public restrooms
The lysosomes are like public bathrooms in a
town. They both are a place or a thing where
someone can get rid of their waste or
unneeded parts. A vacuole gets rid of harmful
wastes and dead organs in a cell so they don’t
infect other organs, when in a public
bathroom human’s blatters get rid of their
waste so it doesn’t infect the humans organs.

Vacuole-Grocery Store
The Vacuole is like a supermarket in a town.
They both store food and liquids to be made
into energy. The vacuole stores basic food
and water for the cell to make into energy,
when the supermarket stores food for people
to buy, and then have their systems turn into
energy.
Mitochondrion-People
The Mitochondrion is like the people in a
town. They both take food and nutrients and
turn it into energy. The Mitochondrion takes
food from the vacuole and turns it into
energy for the cell, when people take food
from the grocery stores and turn it into
energy for themselves.
Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER)-cars
The Endoplasmic Reticulum is like the cars in
a town. They both transport materials around
the system. The Endoplasmic Reticulum
transports materials around the cell, when
the cars transport people around the town.
Ribosome-Grocery store
The Ribosome is like a super market in a
town. They both store protein to be used to
keep the system healthy. The ribosome stores
plain protein for the cell to stay healthy,
when the supermarket stores protein in food
so people can use it to stay healthy.
Golgi Apparatus-UPS
The Golgi Apparatus is like the UPS in a town.
They both have packages that will get
transported around the system. The Golgi
Apparatus packages materials to be
transported around the cell, when the UPS
packages and transports materials around the
town.
Centrosome-Hospital
The Centrosome is like a hospital in a town.
They both reproduce to make more
organizations in the system. The Centrosome
reproduces and splits to make more
organelles in the cell, when the hospital has
people who are reproducing to make more
people for the town.
