Ch 7 Cell Model Foldable You must outline your drawings and labels with either a black pen or black sharpie marker. Your drawings should be accurate and organized and neatly colored. Use this as a check list to make sure that you have included all of the required information in your foldable. 1. Front Cover: Left Side Label Plant Cell a. Label and accurately draw the following structures: Cell Wall Plasma Membrane Chloroplasts Cytoplasm Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum Nucleus Nuclear Membrane (Envelope) Nucleolus – page 197 Nuclear Pores – page 197 LOTS of Ribosomes (free and attached) Golgi Apparatus Vacuole (draw large) Mitochondria Cytoskeleton Right Side Label Animal Cell a. Label and accurately draw the following structures: Plasma Membrane Cytoplasm Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum Nucleus Nuclear Membrane (Envelope) Nucleolus – page 197 Nuclear Pores – page 197 LOTS of Ribosomes (free and attached) Golgi Apparatus Vacuole (draw small) Mitochondria Cytoskeleton Centrioles – draw a pair (2 total next to each other) Lysosome Flagella or Cilia on OUTSIDE OF CELL *if you draw cilia, do not draw it around the entire animal cell just draw a small patch of cilia on the outside area somewhere. 2. Inside: Left Side Label Plant Cells Only a. List and define the 3 organelles that are only found or look significantly different in plant cells: Cell Wall, Chloroplasts, and Vacuole. Right Side Label Animal Cells Only a. List and define the 5 organelles that are only found or look significantly different in animal cells: Lysosome, Centrioles, Vacuole, Cilia, & Flagella. Center Label Both Plant and Animal Cells a. List and define all 12 organelles that are found in both plant and animal cells: Plasma Membrane, Cytoplasm, Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum, Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum, Nucleus, Nuclear Membrane (Envelope), Nucleolus, Nuclear Pores, Ribosomes, Golgi Apparatus, Mitochondria, Cytoskeleton. 3.
