Cell Story Book Project due January 14, 2010 Imagine that you work for the Shaps Book Company. Your editor wants you to develop a children’s book about cells and their parts. The book should be something that a 2nd-4th grader would be able to understand. The editor gives you a list of the book requirements. The book needs to include: The two different types of cells (animal and plant) The different parts of the cells (cell membrane, cell wall, nucleus, mitochondria, lysosomes, ribosomes, golgi bodies, endoplasmic reticulum, cytoplasm, chloroplasts, and vacuoles.) The functions of these parts A well designed front and back cover. A catchy name that describes the story. A theme targeted for 2nd-4th graders.
