Final hand in date: w/c 15th October A Project about Cells Introduction Your task is to make either a 3-D model of a cell with an information booklet to go with it. You need to think about the cell you are going to model. It could be a plant cell, an animal cell, or a specialised cell. Your booklet should have as much of the information in the level ladder below as possible. Your model and booklet will be levelled and displayed in your classroom. You should break your work load up as follows: 1st week: Decide which cell you are going to make, and start to collect materials to help you build it. You may want to draw out a plan of how you will make it to help you. 2nd week: Build your cell. Try and make it as accurate as possible. Remember you also need to label it. 3rd week: Finish making your cell, and start thinking about what will go into your booklet. Remember to look at the level ladder above to help. You may also want to discuss your ideas with your teacher to get some feedback. 4th and 5th weeks: Finish your written information booklet. Make sure you’ve written as much detail as you can, and checked through your work for errors. If you have used any books or websites you should list these at the end. Good luck!
