Addiction Activity Booklet Project
1. In groups of 3 or 4 work together to research drug and alcohol websites, and create
an activity booklet that will teach your classmates about Addiction.
2. Each booklet should cover information about each the drugs included on the Drugs
of Abuse site:
http://learn.genetics.utah.edu/content/addiction/abuse/
2. Each booklet should contain activities or questions relating to the all information you
have included

3. Each Booklet will contain:
● A cover page with images and words that support the information included in
your booklet
● A table of contents
● A list of internet resources used in creating the booklet
● Use of images that support your information
● Answer keys
● At least one of each:
○ Crossword puzzle
○ Word search
○ True/False quiz
○ Advice Column question and response
○ One creative activity such as design an anti-drug t-shirt

4. Once you have completed your activity booklet as a group, you will then be given
another group’s booklet. You read, complete the activities in their booklet and complete
the attached “Critique of Addiction Booklet”.
