Describe why scientific names are preferred over common names in biology.

The diameter of the field of view using high power is 500 µm. Look carefully
at your epithelial cells and see how many would fit across the field of view.
How big is your epithelial cell? Is the Euglena cell larger or smaller than your
cheek cell? How do you know?
3.
Write a short “essay” explaining:
A. How monosaccharides and polysaccharides are related and how one can
be converted to the other.
B. How amino acids and polypeptides are related and how one can be
converted to the other.
