The buffer contains a compound that increases sample density, so that samples sink easily into the wells of an agarose gel. The 10X P-Green Buffer contains two dyes (yellow and blue) that separate to allow easy monitoring during electrophoresis. The blue dye migrates at the same rate as 3-5Kb DNA fragments in a 1% agarose gel. The yellow dye migrates ahead of primers (<50bp). Use the 10X P-Green Buffer for direct-to-gel analysis after amplification by fluorescence or absorbance without prior purification of the DNA. 10X P-Blue Buffer The 10X P-Blue Buffer allows you to go directly from the thermal cycler to gel analysis. The buffer contains a compound that increases sample density, so that samples sink easily into the wells of an agarose gel. The 10X P-Blue Buffer contains a dye (blue) that separates to allow easy monitoring during electrophoresis. The blue dye migrates at the same rate as 3-5Kb DNA fragments in a 1% agarose gel. Use the 10X P-Blue Buffer for direct-to-gel analysis after amplification by fluorescence or absorbance without prior purification of the DNA. 10X P-Red Buffer The 10X P-Red Buffer allows you to go directly from the thermal cycler to gel analysis. The buffer contains a compound that increases sample density, so that samples sink easily into the wells of an agarose gel. The 10X P-Red Buffer contains a dye (Red) that separates to allow easy monitoring during electrophoresis. The blue dye migrates at the same rate as 400~500bp DNA fragments in a 1% agarose gel. Use the 10X P-Red Buffer for direct-to-gel analysis after amplification by fluorescence or absorbance without prior purification of the DNA.
