ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION FUND
Climate change adaptation is a priority action for the Province. The Climate Change Adaptation Fund
program was launched in January 2009 to support efforts and actions by communities to understand
the vulnerability they are facing, and how they can prepare, adapt and become more resilient for
the impacts of climate change. Key objectives of this program are to:
identify and assess the threats and opportunities related to climate change in Nova Scotia;
and
build Nova Scotia’s capacity to become better suited to new and different climatic
conditions.
