SHARPMASS™ 50
Ready-to-load DNA Ladder
EMR810100 SHARPMASS™ 50 - 100 lanes
STORAGE AND STABILITY
The ladder can be stored for 6 months at 25°C or for 12 months at 4°C . The maximal stability (24 months) is achieved at -20°C.
SHARPMASS™50 Ready-to-load DNA Ladder consists of 17 DNA fragments ranging from 50 bp to 1.5 kb. It is designed
to show virtually uniform spacing over a wide fragment range. The ladder allows sizing and concentration estimate of DNA
fragments on agarose gels generated by PCR or restriction digest. The fragment mix is supplied in ready-to-use format
containing orange G as tracking dye and yields a ladder of the following doublestranded DNA fragments: 50 bp (30 ng) 100
bp (27ng), 150 bp(30 ng), 200 bp (67 ng), 250 bp (25 ng) 300 bp (20 ng), 350 bp (18 ng) 400 bp (27 ng), 450 bp (23 ng),
500 bp (67 ng), 600 bp (20 ng), 700 bp (23 ng), 800 bp (27 ng), 900bp (30 ng), 1000 bp (33 ng), 1200 bp (70 ng) and 1500
bp (40 ng). In brackets quantities of dsDNA fragments per band in nanograms, when 5μl were loaded to the lane. The 200,
500 and the 1200 base pair fragments have enhanced brightness and can be used as reference points.
FEATURES
• It is possible to approximate the mass of DNA in comparably intense samples of similar size.
• No extraneous high molecular weight bands.
• Value - load only 5 μl/lane of SHARPMASS™50 Ready-to-load
• Easy-to-identify reference bands.
CONCENTRATION
0.112 μg/μl.
EMR810100-1214-R0/693
STORAGE BUFFER
10mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.00); 10 mM EDTA ,10% (w/v) Glycerol, Orange G.
RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE
Apply approximately 5μl of SHARPMASS™50 Ready-to-load DNA Ladder per lane.
