Neuron Project In this project you will be required to choose a neuron, research it and present it to the class. Begin by taking some time to review some of the different types of neurons here. Once you have chosen a couple of neurons that seem interesting to you, be sure to check with Mr. Silva to make sure that no one else is doing the same one. In your research you should identify the following: 1) What is the name of the neuron? 2) Where is it located? 3) What does the neuron look like? 4) What is the function of the neuron? 5) What stimuli or neuron transmitters effect this neuron? 6) Describe what would happen without this neuron Your presentation can take many forms; you can do a classic powerpoint presentation, you can write a song or a poem, create a short video, write and perform a skit or any other presentation that you clear with Mr. Silva. Feel free to be creative and have fun with it!
