AIMS & OBJECTIVES (1) To provide students with an in depth understanding of moral issues that they face in this rapidly changing society. (2) To equip students with analytical skills that will enable them to apply moral theories and principles to resolve moral dilemmas arising from different fields in applied ethics. (3) To help students aware of the ethical concerns in different fields in applied ethics. (4) 6. To enable students to think critically on moral arguments concerning applied ethical issues. COURSE DESCRIPTION/ CONTENT This course begins with a brief introduction to moral theories and principles in preparing students to analyse critical issues that they face in their daily life. Then moral issues in selected fields in applied ethics will be introduced.
