AIMS & OBJECTIVES
(1) To provide students with an in depth understanding of moral issues that they face in
this rapidly changing society.
(2) To equip students with analytical skills that will enable them to apply moral theories
and principles to resolve moral dilemmas arising from different fields in applied
ethics.
(3) To help students aware of the ethical concerns in different fields in applied ethics.

To enable students to think critically on moral arguments concerning applied ethical
issues.
COURSE DESCRIPTION/ CONTENT
This course begins with a brief introduction to moral theories and principles in preparing
students to analyse critical issues that they face in their daily life. Then moral issues in
selected fields in applied ethics will be introduced. Students are encouraged to apply those
theories and principles in attempting to facilitate morally acceptable solutions.
本科目將首先簡單介紹一些道德理論及原則，以預備同學對他們日常生活所遇到的重
要道德議題進行分析。然後，我們會一同研究一些應用倫理學的選題。同學們應該嘗
