Position: Digital Marketing Manager Location: London Salary: £25k-30k + Bonus IQPC is a global commercial company producing in excess of 1500 events every year across a variety of sectors such as pharmaceutical, oil and gas, telecoms, defence and many more! We have an online portal dedicated to each industry that we work in and IQPC is looking for a bright, proactive and savvy digital marketer to join the team. In this new role, you will be marketing an established online portal and growing this online community for commercial success. You will be adept in email marketing, social media, media partnerships, content marketing, SEO, PPC, copy writing and other online initiatives with an active interest in finding new ways to reach our audience. This role is suitable for you if you are a results-oriented individual with experience in Digital Marketing and community building, are familiar with data segmentation using a CRM system, are detail orientated, creative and are able to manage internal and external suppliers. As the Digital Marketing Manager you will be the voice of our community and lead the strategic and tactical development of it to increase member growth, member engagement, creative development, implementation and measurement of all online marketing activities. In addition, you will be responsible for developing, owning, executing and optimizing the email marketing strategy. You’ll have outstanding copywriting skills, a background in digital marketing, social media engagement and content marketing. Ideally you’ll have a strong and outgoing personality, be curious about all things digital and be interested in the online customer experience. Primary Responsibilities: All marketing activities for the online community Membership acquisition – Use the digital marketing mix to grow members SEO – working with the Online Editor to manage, analyse and optimise SEO to increase organic traffic PPC – develop and implement search marketing strategies and campaigns that deliver results Planning and executing marketing campaigns in line with client needs whilst building relationships and managing those campaigns Email marketing – Own all email marketing initiatives from copy to design; including the weekly newsletter Lead generation – develop the online portal into a fully optimized lead generation tool and opt-in database Database Management – Manage and segment the opt-in and prospecting database using our internal CRM system Site analytics – manage all site analytics and closely measure performance of site activity, promotions and usability. Track the impact of community activity to our events. Cross department collaboration – work closely with sales team, web developers and event marketing managers to promote events to the wider community. Content – ensure that web content and online communications are continually optimize to increase site stickiness Create, maintain and own strategic media/association partnerships Social Media – Own and execute all social media activity to increase our reach, engagement and impact of social media. Requirements: Proven experience in Digital Marketing strategies and tactics – preferably 1 – 2 years CRM and/or enterprise software experience is desirable Experience of using a content management system Working knowledge of web interface design and multimedia Outstanding writing and editing skills Proven ability in the creation and execution of quality email and online campaigns Understanding of the online environment and evolving web tools used to improve online marketing efforts Excellent analytics skills with experience using Google Analytics and MS Excel to improve activities and results Adept at managing multiple concurrent projects and able to prioritise your workload accordingly Ability to write press releases and distribute them for maximum impact. It would also be desirable to be able to identify PR opportunities with clients Practical experience of using PPC tools like Google Adwords and LinkedIn advertising Strong commercial focus with an ability to identify opportunities beyond the obvious Demonstrable enthusiasm for digital and keeping up to date with new trends, technologies and opportunities Good working knowledge of other marketing disciplines Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build relationships quickly Passionate about analysing results and motivated by driving success in the form of revenue and profit To apply please send your CV to [email protected] Follow us on Twitter @IQPCcareers
