These Symposia on Protein Metabolism and turnover have been periodically organized since 1986.
The 2008 program is focused on the mechanisms and pathways controlling Protein Expression and
Turnover in Health and Disease, with emphasis on Catabolic States, Ageing, Exercise and Hormone
treatment. A session on Proteomics and its application to metabolic studies is included.
