QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
1. What cell parts do Animal cells have that Plant cells do not have?
2. What cell parts do Plant cells have that Animal cells do not have?
Lysosome
Celll wall and chloroplast
7. Why do Plant cells have cell walls and Animal cells do not? because animal cells use the cell membrane to hold
the cell together. this in turn gives the animal cell more flexibility and gives it the ability to use specialized procedures.
Also the plants cell wall protects the cell from damage (the plant cells are more fragil then animal cells) (less flexible)
8. Why do you think plant cells have bigger vacuoles than animal cells? Plant cells have bigger vacuoles filled with
cell sap. When you water a plant, the water collects in the vacuole and makes it stiff. This is why plants wilt if they
don't get enough water.
