Climate change is one of many challenges facing
developing countries…

..but unless it is tackled soon, it will reverse
development gains and exacerbate inequalities.

“Climate-smart” development is needed and can be
achieved.

Rich countries must take leadership on climate
action now, but we can’t succeed without the active
cooperation of middle-income countries.
