Employment Description: If you refer to yourself as a web geek and data junkie, this role is for you. 190west is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Analyst to oversee all aspects of web analytics and reporting and will be responsible for creating reports, analyzing data and putting together actionable trend information to help drive our clients business. You will serve as the primary point of communication with internal staff, relating to traffic quality and optimization. You will drive improvements in ROI through analysis, testing, and optimization. Your consolidated reports and spreadsheets will help us communicate Internet Sales & Marketing Metrics (encapsulating websites, email marketing, eNewsletter, paid search and online banners efforts) to our clients. The Digital Marketing Analyst needs to be self-motivated and understand conversion cycles (e.g. B2C ecommerce and B2B Lead Generation). Must be familiar with Google Analytics and Internet Marketing Principals. Applicant must also have excellent organizational and analytical skills. You must be ROI driven. Responsibilities Include: Using strong analytics skills, business acumen and attention to quality to provide data and analysis to assist in solving complex business problems Communicate insights and suggest improvements based on data and observed trends Drive core insights from data to suggest, create and execute multivariate or a/b/c tests that drive fundamental improvements to the site experience. Deliver web analytics implementation solutions based on business requirements/needs Develop advanced tagging strategies for measuring attribution and capturing multichannel campaign performance across: social, mobile, digital and offline channels Develop and present standard and ad hoc reports and analysis to stakeholders across the organization Create performance forecasts and track actual performance against forecasted plans Set-up attribution models to measure and analyze multi-channel effectiveness Serve as the subject matter expert on web analytics and stay abreast of industry best practices and new opportunities Provide training to team members on web analytics basics Collaborate with team members to develop and support our clients Lead Generation campaigns. Create and present reports covering analytics and campaign performance Dive into website analytics and internal databases to provide insight and recommendations to improve customer experience, increase sales revenue, and optimize marketing performance. Update and maintain daily reports on marketing campaign performance, cost and revenue trends, and website metrics. Monitor, track, and report on search engine marketing metrics, including return on investment & trend analysis. Be an evangelist and resource for the team for all things data/metrics related. Provide competitive analysis and benchmark competitor efforts in regards to marketing initiatives, product selection, social media, and more. Your qualifications: 3-5 years experience as an online marketing analyst preferred. Skilled with using Web-based analytics tools (specifically Google Analytics) required. Experience with and understanding of tracking tags used for online media banners and paid search (ex.ROI tags, Google Analytics, optimization pixels, etc.). Experience in basic coding languages including Javascript, jQuery, and HTML5 is a plus. Experience in tag management software is a plus. Proficient in software applications, spreadsheet & word processing, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports. Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools, such as Salesforce.com, Marketo, and Eloqua is a plus. Experience with being part of a small but growing team. Demonstrate a proactive work ethic and able to prioritize daily work efficiently in a fastpaced environment. Analyze metric data and able to communicate findings recommendations to all levels of the organization. Exceptional MS Excel Skills with MS Access experience a plus.
