Advertising Today
• Computers are not only used to do simple
things such as word processing and
creating e-mails but are used in the
advertising field in many was.
• Including:
• Creating websites
• E-mail blast marketing
• Using programs such as Adobe to create
ads and ad campaigns
Impacts of Computers
• Computers have generally made
communication in the business world
easier.
• In Advertising and Public Relations
communication is a key factor that must be
kept with the management of the company
the advertising agency is working for.
How computers are useful
• Budget saving in these key areas:
• Blast emails are an easy and cost efficient
way to target the business oriented
audience.
• Many designs can be done in-house
instead of outsourcing projects if you have
an advertising department in your
company.
Podcasting and Blogging in
Advertising
• Podcasting and Blogging are becoming more
efficient ways for the computer savy businesses
to either advertise a new product or to spread
the word about a certain product or service.
• They can also be effective to help in employee
relations by having the company newsletter or
even a place for employees to give other ideas
on how to improve the company.
