Post-doctoral positions available in the LabEx DEVweCAN Lyon, France
Two post-doctoral positions are now open in Dr. Julien Marie lab at the department of Immunology,
virology and inflammation of the Cancerology Research Center of Lyon (CRCL), in the framework
of the Excellence Laboratory (LabEx) DEVweCAN in Lyon, France.
The Marie lab is focused on the regulatory effects of TGF-beta on the T lymphocytes. We
established several mouse models to selectively analyze the effects of TGF-beta on T cells (Marie et
al Immunity 2006, Doisne et al J. Exp. Med 2009). In line with our previous works (Havenar et al
Blood 2012) we are interested in the effects of TGF-beta on effector T cell development and
functions.
Candidates should have a strong experience in the analysis of the mouse immune system using flow
cytometry. Knowledge of Th17 biology, mucosal immunity and or thymus immunology will be a
great assess.
The selected candidates will join a dynamic team. Salary will be covered by the lab and will depend
on the expertise of the candidate.
The positions will be established for 3 years.
English is the language of the lab.
Lyon is the third city of France, at 2 hours from Paris, 1h30 from the French Riviera, and 1h from
the Alps.
Applications should contain a CV, a short statement of professional skills and interests, as well as
contact details of 2-3 referees.
Applications should be sent by e-mail to [email protected] and selected candidates will get an
interview.
