2. review the idea of surface area/volume ratios that

Mitosis – Cell Reproduction

1. draw and label the parts of mitosis or cell division
2. explain the function of each phase of mitosis

Lab: Exercise 6.3 “Separation and Identification of Plant
pigments by Paper Chrmoatograph”
Prepare for lab 6.4 “Determining the Absorption
Spectrum for Leaf Pigments” - Class Project  Thurs.
The student will be able to:
1. separate pigments according to their polarity using a
lab technique called Paper Chromatography.
2. Identify pigments that are separated
