Electrophoretic mobility (P3040701)
Principle
Electrophoresis is a standard method in modern biochemistry. It enables molecules that
ionize to be isolated and identified by means
of the differences in their migration rates in an
electric field which results from their particular
charges and masses. The method enables amino acids, peptides, proteins, nucleic acids and
glycopeptides to be investigated and physicochemical characterised.
