JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title:
Marketing Planner
Reporting to:
Campaign and Content Manager
Role Focus:
Reporting to the Content and Campaign Manager, the Marketing Planner has responsibility
for creating content which is relevant and engaging for different types of customers, across
the four core markets. This role has responsibility for executing marketing campaigns,
developing content and customer communications across all channels globally.
Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities

Develop a marketing content strategy and plan which is rooted in customer insight,
for all customer types (end consumer, interior designers and painter/decorators)
across the four core markets, at every point in the awareness to recommendation
journey.

Effectively plan marketing activity and content development, briefing the creative
team to create relevant and engaging content for:
o CRM based campaigns
o Event based campaigns
o Regional marketing upweight activity (including Showroom Opening)

Support the CRM and Insight team to write copy (outsourcing as needed) for the
customer acquisition, retention and loyalty programme, ensuring communication
reflects the brand proposition and is engaging and relevant to the customer in terms
of stage of journey and market location.

Create and deliver targeted customer communications (all customer types – end
consumer, painter decorator and interior designer), managing the process from
concept to delivery, identifying resources for copy writing (in house or outsourcing),
briefing the creative team, organising translations

Responsible for ensuring that all content and copy is in line with the brand
positioning, is written in the right tone of voice and reflects the brand characteristics
and overall brand essence.

Evaluate performance of content to understand ROI, successes and learnings,
encouraging continuous improvement.

Develop all copy and manage content for CRM driven email communications as
briefed by the Insight and CRM team

Specifically manage the development of the customer brochures including
pagination, copy writing, translation, briefing the creative team, volume
requirements, understanding stock and run out rates, distribution and shipping lead
times

Be the spokesperson for Interior Designers within the Content and Campaign team,
developing content and copy which will engage and develop this highly important
target audience

Develop POS for showrooms and stockists, writing copy and developing content as
briefed by the Channel Marketing Team.

Develop content and tools for the colour talk programme

Responsible for developing the brand tone of voice document and communicating
the guiding principles to the marketing team and key stakeholders within the wider
business
