Marketing Manager
Job purpose: To co-ordinate marketing campaigns with the aim of building member engagement and achieving target revenue.
Key Accountabilities

Build marketing campaigns that maximise marketing investment by:
o Optimising marketing channels and user journeys
o Articulating compelling messaging for different target audiences
o Building stakeholder relationships across the business to shape and deliver integrated campaigns
o Reviewing market conditions and Law Society marketing and product activity to identify marketing opportunities.
 Manage the change within the team and the wider business from a tactical marketing focus to a strategic marketing approach.
 Evaluate and report on campaign and other marketing-related metrics.
 Manage campaign budgets.
 Line management.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential:
Desirable:
 Degree level educated or equivalent.
 Knowledge of either the legal sector or experience of working for a
membership organisation.
 Significant experience in a b2b marketing role at a similar level or above.
 A marketing qualification e.g. CIM, IDM, CAM or other recognised
 Strong planning and organisation skills with proven ability to multi-task and handle

To plan, organise and manage own workload effectively.
To manage ongoing relationships with and co-ordinate the marketing workflow through internal teams,

To gather and report on marketing opportunities across Law Society products and membership.

To project manage campaigns from inception and delivery through to evaluation.

copywrite for a variety of audiences, internal and external customers, and a variety of formats.
Must be able to grasp complex concepts and present them in a clear and understandable way.
Analytical Responsibility
Must be able to gain an understanding of what a particular segment of lawyers need.
Must be able to gather relevant audience data, including interrogation of CRM.
Must be able to conduct post-campaign analyses for ongoing improvement of marketing.
Location
Based in London with occasional travel to conferences, exhibitions etc.
