JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary Company: Quicklink Ltd Location: Swansea, SA1 Industry: Broadcasting/Media Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Years’ Experience: 5+ Years Career Level: Manager Salary: Negotiable Marketing Manager Reporting to the Sales Director, the Marketing Manager will use their full mix experience to take ownership for all marketing activity with a focus on the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the Quicklink brands. Working collaboratively with the Senior Management Team and leading the marketing team, you will play a key role in delivering long term sustainable profitable growth for the business. Role Summary: To be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives. To evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan alterations as needed. To oversees all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities. The main responsibilities will be: Demonstrate technical marketing skills and company product knowledge. Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the sales department. This should detail the year’s activity to meet agreed company objectives and to increase brand awareness within the channel and distribution. Budget management. To deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget. Manage all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution. Achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media. Develop a complete product lifestyle strategy for the products to ensure opportunities are fully exploited to maintain profitability and grow market share (from product launch to 'end of life'). To conduct market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future products. To develop and implement a company-wide plan to push product, working with all departments for its execution To analyse potential strategic partner relationships for product lines To manage exhibition and corporate events To manage the promotion of Quicklink through its online web presence Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives Explore emerging markets with the view to developing new routes to market. Develop and maintain data in order to grow an understanding of the market environment by scoping and quantifying market trends, competitor performance and market dynamics. Create pricing strategies through effectively analysing market data. Take responsibility of marketing budgets in order to maximise ROI. Develop and maintain the short to medium-term product forecast to aid the supply chain process and prioritise the sales focus. Job Specifications: Approximately 4-6 years of experience in the marketing industry. Experience with a company in the technology sector. Degree Educated Qualified chartered marketer Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on marketing strategies to meet company objectives. A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements. A willingness to travel for attendance at annual exhibitions A proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities. Strong analytical and project management skills. Confident and dynamic personality. Strong creative outlook and a “make it happen” attitude. Strong visual storytelling and presentation development skills A meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines Proven product marketing experience Strong analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail -able to demonstrate marketing experience -commercial awareness and a strong communication and analytical skills. The ability to assess business opportunities for sales and volumes but also to push back to accounts regarding marketing investment and price points.
