Curriculum purchased by parents: Take A Stand! Modern World History and The Western Experience
Using the Classical Historian students learn not what to think or memorize, but how to analyze the
events of the past. This unique approach makes the student an active participation in the analysis of the

need to use history texts and documents to complete the Take a Stand! method.

2. Students are Challenged with Open-Ended Questions.
3. Students Research in a Variety of Secondary and Primary Sources.
4. Students Engage in a Socratic Discussion.
5. Students Write an Analytical Essay.
