Position: Marketing Strategist / FT position The Marketing Strategist will be responsible for conducting brand and marketing audits as well as developing marketing and communication strategies for our clients. Responsibilities and Skills: • • • • • • • • • • • Conduct deep dive analysis into past performance results in order to map out trends and identify key response variables; then leverage these findings to optimize customer acquisition activity. Develop and test new marketing strategies, which improve response rates among new and existing customer segments. Create marketing plans for partners that maximize client/business profitability. Monitor performance of all creative and data strategies and make appropriate recommendations to further improve performance. Develop metrics with marketing strategies. Develop and propose new product/channel ideas/marketing concepts. Provide strategic direction to supporting marketing teams in order to develop/execute new marketing ideas/concepts/tests. Support development of marketing strategy plan. Conduct market/competitive analysis, and work with product and marketing manager to form shared views of the marketplace. Measure and evaluate strategy performance. Quantify the trade offs, inter-‐relationships and elasticity of brand, advertising, promotions, direct mail and other sales and marketing levers in order to determine optimal investment. Required Qualifications • • • • • • • • • • • • • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field; MBA desired. Three to 5 years of direct marketing experience; prefer candidate with branding knowledge and experience. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and analytical skills. Strong skills in developing marketing and communication strategies. Strong skills in project management, and seeing projects through to completion. Strong analytical skills; ability to conceptualize new ideas, strategies, etc. Strong skills in working independently as well as with a team. Results oriented; demonstrated success in overcoming obstacles and launching campaigns on time and on budget. Self-‐starter; able to seize opportunities with minimal direction. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Able to work in a fast-‐paced, growth oriented organization. Online marketing knowledge/ability a plus. Reporting skills a plus.
