POSITION DETAILS:
♦ Currently, Spectrix Analytical Services, LLC is searching for an analytical chemist with a
strong background in the purification and analysis of drug discovery compounds. HPLC,
and LCMS experience is essential. The job includes the purification of small molecule
drug discovery final products. Knowledge of NMR spectroscopy, HPLC method
development, analytical and semi-prep HPLC analyses, and MS interpretation are
desirable. The job locations are in the Princeton, NJ area or Wallingford, CT. Strong
instrument operating skills and computer proficiency, along with the ability to utilize
multiple vendors’ formats are required. Must be successful at reporting and
communicating results efficiently and effectively to the customers.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
♦ The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a B.S. in chemistry, biochemistry, or
another physical science, and have experience in the purification and isolation of organic
compounds. Candidates should possess excellent written and oral communication skills
and the ability to work well in a team oriented environment.
