JOB PROFILE JOB TITLE Marketing and Sponsorship Manager REPORTS TO Head of Marketing & Communications DIRECT REPORTS TO THIS JOB Marketing and PR Officer KEY INTERFACE WITH Event Delivery Agency, Host Cities, Sponsors, Commercial Manager JOB BASED AT UKA Head Office BUDGET RESPONSIBILITY TBC OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB Marketing UK Athletics, televised events and UKA initiatives and to act as the Brand Guardian for UKA KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To develop and implement the marketing strand of the integrated communications strategy To manage marketing programme around all televised events with a focus on direct marketing and ticket sales To oversee design and production of all marketing collateral To identify and exploit all relevant communications channels to ensure televised events and other UKA initiatives are marketed appropriately To create a customer database To responsibility for the marketing budget To liaise with event delivery agency on all marketing and collateral issues To work with partner organisations e.g. sponsors to ensure all marketing avenues are exploited in relation to TV event ticket sales To work with sponsors to ensure appropriate presence on all marketing collateral To be the brand guardian for all UKA output. To work with procurement to deliver a cost effective print management solution To work with Content Manager, home country athletics associations, English regions and event delivery agency to develop a commonality across all key communications tools e.g. newsletters To manage the AW relationship in terms of advertising content To work with Event Delivery Agency to ensure relevant database of customers SUCCESS CRITERIA / MEASUREMENTS Capacity attendance at UKA televised events Increase levels of data capture A credible system of monitoring and evaluating the effect and outcomes of our communication work PERSONAL PROFILE COMPETENCY LEADERSHIP COMMUNICATION Ability to negotiate an effective strategy and ensure it is delivered.
