Rabbit Anti-Human NOG Polyclonal Antibody Catalog No. HS-PP-0203 Size 100 μl Description Rabbit Polyclonal to NOG (Gene ID 9241) Physical State Liquid Antibody Concentration 1 mg/ml Antibody form Affinity isolated antibody Tested applications WB,Indirect ELISA Species reactivity Human Antibody Purity Protein A purified Suggested Dilution 1:500- 1:1000 for WB Range 1:5,000- 1:100,000 for ELISA Storage Instructions Store at 2-8°C for up to 6 months and -20°C for long term storage in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles. Immunogen This anti-NOG antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide. Background Information Noggin is a secreted polypeptide which binds and inactivates members of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) superfamily signaling proteins, such as bone morphogenetic protein-4 (BMP4). By diffusing through extracellular matrices more efficiently than members of the TGF-beta superfamily, it may have a principal role in creating morphogenic gradients. Noggin appears to have pleiotropic effect, both early in development as well as in later stages. The results of the mouse knockout of the ortholog suggest that noggin is involved in numerous developmental processes, such as neural tube fusion and joint formation. Recently, several dominant human NOG mutations in unrelated families with proximal symphalangism (SYM1) and multiple synostoses 河北翰林生物科技有限公司,石家庄市高新区长江大道 238 号,宏昌科技园 电话:0311-67590303, 传真:0311-67590303 www.hanlinbiotechnology.com Sunny Biotechnology Co., 248 Deming Place, Westmont, IL 60559, USA Phone: 630-664-3691, Fax: 630-689-0020 www.sunnybiotechnology.com Rabbit Anti-Human NOG Polyclonal Antibody Catalog No. HS-PP-0203 Size 100 μl syndrome (SYNS1) were identified; both SYM1 and SYNS1 have multiple joint fusion as their principal feature, and map to the same region (17q22) as this gene. All of these mutations altered evolutionarily conserved amino acid residues. The amino acid sequence of this human gene is highly homologous to that of Xenopus, rat and mouse. Note For in vitro research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This product is not a medical device. Whole cell lysates of Hela (lane 1:30μg) were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with HS-PP-0203 antibody at dilution of 1:400. Predicted molecular weight: 26 kDa.
