DAY 2 --- Sentence Parts & Phrases

 The subject of a sentence is the “who” or “what” of the verb.
**The subject can be an “understood you.”
 A transitive verb does not take a direct object.

prepositional phrase.
 The object of the preposition follows the preposition and tells “what” or “whom.”
 A prepositional phrase is a group of words beginning with a preposition and ending
with a noun or pronoun.
