Deconstruct the standards Students will access the Cell Structure & Function Quizlet from Mrs. Cox’s Quizlet. They will make a list of terms they know, terms they have heard before but cannot define, and terms they have never heard before. Teacher will make a class list. Teacher will give a Socrative review for the quiz. Closing Activity: ( 5 min.) Assessment/Evaluation: Teacher will use completed Socrative activity to evaluate student understanding. Students will distinguish between the structure & function of organelles in plant and animal cells. Activating Strategy: (10 List the three parts of the cell theory. min.)
