Digestive System
The goal of your powerpoint is to provide enough information so your students understand the anatomy
(structure) and physiology (function) of the your system. If you are not sure if you are covering everything that
is needed or if it is not making sense, please speak with the teacher. Your powerpoint should include all the
following points but it is not limited to these things:
 Major functions of digestive system
 The structure and function of the major organs of the digestive system: mouth, esophagus, stomach,
small intestine, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, large intestine & rectum.
 A diagram that includes the major organs of the digestive system.
 Describe the pathway food travels throughout the digestive system (list all the organs involved).
 Explain how your body system works with other systems in the body. You will need at least 3 examples.
 Find 5 facts about your body system and spread them throughout your presentation.
