One postdoctoral scientist position is available for one to three years in the Laboratory of Cell Biology, Clinic of Dermatology, University Hospital of Geneva starting from September/November. The project aims at the characterization of the molecular interactions between intermediate filament proteins and various members of the plakin family of cytolinkers expressed in skin and in striated muscle cells, and of their role in maintenance of tissue integrity as well as in congenital epidermolysis bullosa and muscular dystrophies. The project is supported by the Swiss National Foundation for Scientific Research and the Swiss Foundation for Research on Muscle Diseases. Enthusiastic candidates with good communication skills in French or in English should possess a Ph.D degree, a strong background in molecular/cell biology, biochemistry and, of preference, good knowledge of muscle biology. Applications including full CV and letters of introduction by three referees with email should be sent to: Prof. Luca Borradori Clinic of Dermatology University Hospital Rue Micheli du Crest 24 CH-1211 Genève 14 Email : [email protected]
