CREATIVE PROJECT:
A SUBSTANTIVE WAY TO TEACH THE
EXPECTATIONS OF CURRICULUM
STANDARDS TO SCIENCE
STUDENTS FOR PERCIEVED
INTEGRAL COGNITION OF
NATURE AND CONCEPTS IN THE
SCIENCE DOMAIN.
WHY
• This piece thesis addresses the issue of how to
make low reading science students comprehend
the lesson’s standard in an effective structured
multimodal way
How
• Effective science instruction requires an array
of ideas and strategy; this asks for an
inquisitive mind and hands on experience to
effectively instruct all multiple intelligences
successfully.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
• Today’s standard
• 1a. You will know how to relate the position of
an element in the periodic table to its atomic
number and atomic mass.

Rootonym
Puzzle #1
a substance that can not be composed into
similar substances. In an element, all the atoms
have the same number of protons or electrons,
although, the number of neutrons may vary.
There are 92 naturally occurring elements.
A table of elements arranged in order of
increasing proton number to show the similarities
of chemical elements with related electron
configurations.
A unit of mass used to express relative atomic
masses. It is ½ of the mass of an atom of the
isotope carbon-12 and is equal to 1.660 33x10 27kg.
Symbol Z. the number of protons in the nucleus of
an atom. The atomic number is equal to the
number of electrons orbiting the nucleus in a
neutral atom.
Root/ Origin word: Element from L. elementem meanibg "rudiment, first principle, Atom matter in its most basic form," Gk. atomos meaning
"uncut,"
CONCLUSION
The multimedia approach of the standards is
refreshing, and the focus on giving students a clear
way to access the vocabulary of the standard is
essential. This work reflects the new paradigms of
teaching and learning that is being infused into
educational classrooms of the 21st century.
