What is the best approach in achieving
our 2020 target ?
How do we need to re-design our
programmes to maximise leverage?
How do we balance our fuel poverty,
climate change and housing quality
objectives ?
What should we be asking of the UK
Government ?
Report on Proposals and Policies (RPP) 2
• Climate Change Act requires periodic updates of
RPP as new annual targets set
• Ministers must set targets for 2023-2027 by 31
October
• Draft targets following Committee on Climate
Change recommendations have been laid
Q. What will the built environment look like in 2023 and what policies
will be needed to meet emission targets in the second RPP (for
2023-2027)?
Q. What further information and analysis do you think is required to
inform the content of the second RPP ?
