Influences on Health • Identify People and things that might influence you – Media: The various forms of mass communication. – Advertisement: A paid announcement about a product of service. – Commercial: An advertisement on television or radio. – Technology: In media, takes the form of using hightech equipment to communicate information. – Culture: The arts, beliefs, and customs that make up a way of life for a group of people at a certain time.
