MARKETING MANAGER INGREDIENTS Foodservice National Accounts Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing of value added beverage ingredients, beverage flavors and new beverage concepts. Due to recent expansion, they are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to provide strategic support to the company’s Foodservice National Accounts in the US. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing sales and marketing support plans and developing total vertical solutions from concept to commercialization for the beverage division. The Marketing Manager will proactively develop marketing tools and collateral to support all levels of communication to Chain Foodservice customers, partners and industry channels. The Manager of Marketing is responsible for the creation, innovation and implementation of the marketing strategy for National Foodservice Accounts, managing tactical plans that showcase the Company’s unique value proposition specific to the concerns of those accounts. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for developing a total vertical solution from concept to commercializing products for each customer. Create the marketing plans through analysis of market: trends, segments, channels, competitor products go-to-market plans; in partnership with the customer develops an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the customer’s growth strategy, brands, products, markets and supply chain challenges. Integrate the company’s solutions with the external insights to create customer-specific product concepts designed to drive new growth opportunities for each customer. Create persuasive, compelling messages which are delivered through internal presentations to the company’s executive and senior teams and externally through customer-specific presentations to the customers’ executive/senior leaders. Track and understand the industry market, and assist in the formulation and presentation of a current situation analysis (key market segments, the company’s position, competitive assessments); key issues impacting segment (consumer/market dynamics, internal/external issues/threats), trend assessment, key customer targets and a tactical plan for achieving growth targets. Collaborate with sales, develop and deliver customer-specific presentations; highlighting the company’s strengths, resources, technologies, category, segment, brand knowledge; and tailoring innovative new solutions to assist the customer in growing their business. Develop marketing tools and collateral to support all levels of communication to the Chain foodservice customer base, allied partners, and industry channels Identify consumer and product trends, inform new product innovation, and provide customers with relevant, proactive business-building ideas; assist in identifying new product trends, technologies and opportunities that will assure the company’s continued market leadership and competitiveness with competitors. Develop and maintain competitive profiles including strengths, weaknesses, strategies, technical capabilities, product portfolios and marketing initiatives. Monitor their activities to identify changes in strategies and develop strategies for our company to take advantage of perceived weaknesses to enhance its market position. Align the company and customer goals and strategy to develop synergistic consumer programs that maximize volume. Establish consistent customer coverage that develops a customer centric business relationship resulting in mutually beneficial activity and growth. REQUIREMENTS MUST have a BS degree in Business, Marketing or related field; company prefers advanced degree MSIR, MBA. MUST have 5+ years experience working for an Ingredient or Flavor manufacturer. MUST have 8+ years of progressive FOODSERVICE marketing and business development experience. The ideal applicant will have some experienced working with BEVERAGES, Beverage Ingredients or Beverage Flavors within the Foodservice segment. MUST have the skills and capabilities to be a project leader with the flexibility to manage multiple projects and substantial reengineering of change initiatives simultaneously. MUST be able to work in a fast-paced, high energy, ever-changing environment with a growth acquisition focused business. MUST have the ability to influence and persuade others. MUST have the ability to work through and with diverse personalities while being tactful and professional. MUST be available to travel frequently/as needed MUST have excellent communication skills, written and verbal. MUST have Strong PC skills
