JOB PURPOSE
1. To create and deliver marketing campaigns and activities to support Consult CIH and lead
generation for our portfolio of products and services in financial development, housing
services, asset management, regeneration, sustainability, health and wellbeing, ASB and
welfare reform.
2. Design and manage campaigns that work across digital and offline platforms, working with
Consult CIH staff and teams across the charity CIH to deliver tangible results.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
1. Create and implement online and offline marketing campaigns to generate leads and sales
across the range of Consult CIH products and services.
2. Interrogate and understand customer data using the CRM system, to generate segmented
marketing lists for effective targeting of messages and marketing activity. To be a designated
CRM super-user.
3. End-to-end management of digital activity – from understanding the customer and the product,
to writing engaging email and web copy through to delivery, evaluation of results and reporting
these back to the organisation.
4. Use a range of online systems and technology to communicate marketing messages and
monitor their impact.
5. Devise a strategy to build the brand of Consult CIH. Able to write creative briefs to develop
specific pieces of marketing collateral.
6. Plan and manage marketing activity the stands at any Consult CIH events to promote relevant
messages and products to customers.
7. Build clear user journeys to ensure a good user journey utilising SEO/Google analytics and
become an expert web publisher.

8. Develop robust and productive relationships both within the marketing and
communications team and across Consult CIH and CIH to develop a good understanding
of product and services, customers and the organisation.
9. Find and exploit other channels for marketing messages – including social media channels
and blogs – to maximise the reach of marketing campaigns.
10. Contribute to our marketing reporting – how we measure ROI and performance and apply
it back into work.
11. Any other reasonable duties required.
