We provide an integrated product suite of continuing education management solutions that help education institutions deliver, manage and measure their community education, continuing education, contract sales and workforce education programs. Augusoft has an immediate opening for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager who with limited direction can initiate, plan, budget, manage, coordinate, and implement marketing campaigns and activities that enhance company/product brand and drives sales. This role manages marketing team employees, consultants, interns, vendors and ensures all marketing activities are delivered on time and within budget. The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for company/product branding, market and competitive research, lead generation and events. They will also contribute to a variety of other key marketing functions performed including; PR/communications, website, SEO, social media, and product/service launches. The ideal candidate will have prior work experience with e-marketing and traditional print marketing strategies and how they relate to one another. The successful candidate will be highly detail oriented; organized and have demonstrated successful use of marketing strategies and tactics. They must have a passion for excellence, value integrity and possess exceptional writing and editing abilities. Principal Responsibilities: • • • • • • • • Accountable for the development and implementation of the annual marketing plan including; events, campaigns, website, public relations, and other activities supporting product/service visibility, lead generation, customer retention and brand. Work in conjunction with the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Senior Manager of Sales and proactively provide whatever support is needed to generate leads, opportunities, and other sales possibilities for the sales team. Ensure marketing mix being used is current, generates the best return-on-investment, and utilizes enough touch points to keep products and services top of mind with potential and current clients. Manage marketing staff to ensure marketing plan is well executed and reported on (i.e. media used adheres to brand/style guidelines, company brand, products and services are accurately communicated, are strategically placed and positioned within the industry). Responsible for the management and fiscal ROI of outside vendors and consultants used by department. Responsible for the success of the annual user summit and oversees Event Coordinator and their role in planning/implementing this event and other industry conferences, customer and company events. Responsible for lead generation activities/campaigns, analysis of sales/marketing activities, quantitative/qualitative research and company database. Proactively ensure competitive research is up-to-date and useable by marketing and sales team members. If approved implement these initiatives. Oversee all marketing communications and be able to provide functional, hands-on support in all marketing department areas of responsibility. Develop marketing and sales materials for product/service launches as requested. Be a member of the Augusoft team of staff and contractors who attend conferences and other events promoting Lumens when asked. Qualification Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business and/or management with 10+ years of marketing work experience. • Previous experience and proven success managing employees and external consultants/vendors. • Experience with executing multiple campaign flights, marketing events and technology product and service roll-outs at one time. • Extensive experience and knowledge of marketing principals (both web and print). • Must possess fundamentals and work experience with; writing advertising/technical copy, composition, design/layout, video, photography and production of marketing elements for web and print media. • Ability to be responsible, accountable and results-driven while showing a positive attitude and outlook. • Previous experience generating sales leads and in performing marketing data analysis in a technical (preferably SaaS) sales environment. • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Salesforce.com is preferred. • Semi-frequent travel availability is required (approximately one or more trips out-of-town per month).
