Job Title: Reports to (Title): Functional Area: Digital Marketing Coordinator Senior Manager, ecommerce And Digital Marketing Marketing Job Description Position Summary: As our Digital Marketing Coordinator, you are responsible for helping to drive traffic to our dot com channel by collaborating with our team and external partners to; create and deliver complimentary search engine marketing campaigns to meet project objectives, develop new and existing relationships to expand our reach through affiliate marketing, use SEO (search enginge optimization) methodologies to uncover and manage optimization opportunities, and support our email and social strategy. You are creative, analytical and technical with strong communication and relationship building skills. You are committed to building effective digital campaigns that engage users with relevant and personalized content. Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions: SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) (55%) Contribute expertise to strategic campaign planning in an effort to drive towards digital traffic objectives. Work with partner to evolve an effective paid search strategy that yields a strong ROAS (return on ad spend) and low CPC (cost per click and/or conversion). Contribute to the management of SEM (search engine marketing) campaigns. Leverage strong knowledge of both onsite and offsite SEO (search engine optimization) methodologies to perform ongoing content development and keywords discovery to optimize lists aligned to dot com. Review website backlink profiles and individual links to execute link building activity. Comb through data to uncover actionable insights to optimize search performance. Acquire and maintain our digital marketing calendars providing content and creative assets to external partners. Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments. Affiliate Marketing (35%) Further expand our reach by discovering and partnering with publishers that are right for our brand and business. Nurture existing relationships to meet their potential. Drive affiliate traffic and revenue by optimizing the performance of product campaigns and catalogues. Support the delivery of promotional assets for cross-category product campaigns. Work with partners to generate program terms. Social Media and Email (10%) Support the social media strategy and specialist team by acquiring and posting channel specific content as per the editorial calendar Support the setup and deployment of relevant marketing email communications Core Competencies: Understanding of and experience with digital analytics tools; Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics. Google: AdWords, Merchant Center, Search Console. Backlink tools. Content development relative to keyword recommendations. Email: Cheetahmail, ExactTarget. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. HTML/CSS. Solid understanding of Grand & Toy’s strategy and business model. Take responsibility and hold accountability. Excellent communication skills – oral and written. Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities, within tight deadlines. Positive can-do attitude. Self motivated and driven individual. Education, Certification & Licenses: Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or certificate or equivalent experience with a focus on in Marketing, Digital, ecommerce/eBusiness. Experience: 1-2 years experience with online or affiliate marketing, SEM, SEO. 2 years of industry related experience is considered an asset. Hands-on experience in search and bid management. Solid knowledge and understanding of current SEO/SEM practices. Prior experience conducting web analytics, reporting and analysis. Computer/Tools/Equipment/Software Skills: Understanding of and experience with digital analytics tools and merchandising platforms such as Adobe Site Catalyst and Endeca or equivalent, automated email marketing tools/suites, and understanding of SEM paid search tactics and strategies Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL Server Adobe SiteCatalyst report builder Working Conditions, Physical and Sensory Requirements: Interacts with employees and management.
