Version: 1 Revision Date: 04/28/2016 PE anti-mouse Ly6K Antibody Catalog# / Size 151304 / 100 µg 151303 / 25 µg Clone MK34 (See other available formats) Other Names Lymphocyte antigen 6K, Ly-6K, mLy-6K Isotype Rat IgG2a, κ Ave. Rating ★★★★★ 0 reviews Description Lymphocyte antigen 6K (Ly6K) is a 17 kD GPI-anchored membrane protein expressed by testicular germ cells. Ly6K associates with TEX101 and may have a role in spermatogenesis. It is also expressed in some cancer cell types; a recent study also demonstrated its expression in plasma cells. A soluble 12 kD form of Ly6K has been reported. Ly6K transfected-HEK-293 cells were stained with clone MK34 (filled histogram) PE or rat IgG2a, κ PE isotype control (open histogram). See PE spectral data Reactivity Mouse Immunogen Mouse testicular homogenate. Formulation Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide. Preparation The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with PE under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody. Concentration 0.2 mg/ml Storage & Handling The antibody solution should be stored undiluted between 2°C and 8°C, and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze. Application FC - Quality tested Recommended Usage Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤1.0 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. Excitation Laser Blue Laser (488 nm) Green Laser (532 nm)/Yellow-Green Laser (561 nm) Application Notes Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: immunohistochemical staining on frozen tissue sections1, western blotting1, and immunoprecipitation 1.
