DNA Replication Activity 1. Use the base pairing rules to create a sequence of DNA (in the rectangles) 2. Color/outline both strands the same color and label the bottom of each strand “original strand” 3. Use DNA helicase (scissors) to separate the 2 strands by cutting in between the base pairs. 4. Glue the separated strands apart from each other to a piece of paper. 5. Use DNA polymerase (your pen/pencil) to build complimentary strands. Proof read your work. 6.
